Tri-Valley empowers people with disabilities to realize their potential as full citizens in the community, through supporting them in working and living in the communities they call home. We help them live as independently possible. And we help them belong.
This impact goes beyond the people TVDS serves. We know our communities grow stronger when we embrace people with disabilities as citizens who make valuable contributions.
HISTORY
TVDS began in 1975 to offer programs for children and adults with intellectual developmental disabilities. Since that time, TVDS has grown to serve clients in Allen, Bourbon, Neosho, and Woodson counties. On January 1, 2020, TVDS merged with New Beginnings Enterprises and began providing services in Chautauqua, Elk, Greenwood, and Wilson counties. With values of collaboration, empowerment, integrity, fun, and innovation, TVDS clients belong to a community that supports them and encourages them to live, work, and play to their full potential.
