Each Tri-Valley client is paired with a case manager to develop a plan and goals to fit their unique situation. Case managers assess and stay in regular communication with clients and their families to is an ally to the client and family, and an advocate for attaining their goals.
Tri-Valley offers an array of day activities for clients who are not employed full-time. Clients can learn to cook, use computers, participate in art activities, and tend to plants using horticulture therapy. These skills keep clients learning and growing, as well as participating in group activities.
Clients are empowered when they can contribute and participate as fully as they are capable in the communities they belong. Clients who work in the community or in Tri-Valley work centers bring home paychecks and learn to save money and budget, as well as become even more tightly integrated into their neighborhoods.
Tri-Valley offers diverse housing options for clients in Allen, Bourbon, Chautauqua, Elk, Greenwood, Neosho, Wilson, and Woodson counties. Some clients thrive in community homes, while others prefer living alone or with a roommate in an apartment. Working with clients and their families, we strive to find comfortable and engaging living spaces.
